We are pleased to announce that we have recently opened our newest location in London, UK providing a state of the art hosting Facility. Unfortunately we have outgrown the Datacenter that is home to many customers in Cheltenham, UK and have decided to migrate all services to our new London Datacenter to best serve you.
We are working to ensure that this is handled as seamlessly as possible and has a minimal effect on all customers being moved. The hosting machines currently located in Cheltenham, UK will be relocated to London, UK using a professional courier service and will be transferred the same day. As soon as these machines are delivered, our on-site technicians will begin racking these and bring them online as quickly as possible.
The improvements you will receive once moved to the new facility will be immense. The Safe Host Datacenter in London, UK offers a massive increase in network capacity, providing us with 2x 10GB Uplinks for each Cabinent. They also provide a far superior network infrastructure that will bring better connectivity and lower latency for gamers. The current Cheltenham, UK Datacenter is a much smaller facility, leaving it incapable of dealing with any stress on the network. This shortcoming continues to affect our customers on a regular basis and we feel that the large investments into our new hosting provider will drastically improve the experience for our UK customers.
